Team Blue wins Carp league playoff tournament

Team Blue won the Carp Men's Fastball League playoff title for the third straight year with an 11-10 over Team Red in the final game on Saturday afternoon at the Fairgrounds.

Blue was up 10-5 after five and half and Red scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth to tie it. After Blue scored one in the top of the seventh, Red had two men on in the bottom of the final inning when a triple play ended the game.

Carp Men's Fastball League has four teams and plays their regular season games on Tuesday nights at the Carp Fairgrounds diamonds.
