Day two (mostly) complete at U20 Canadians
Rain interfered with the schedule at the Softball Canada U20 Men's Canadian Championship in Carp, but five of the eight schedule games got played.
West Carleton Electric only got to play one of their two scheduled games, losing 6-3 to the Nova Scotia Selects. Dakota McComb took the loss and had relief from Noah Fleurie. The Electric got down 6-0 but scraped back with a sacrifice fly by Finn Barton and a two RBI double by Gabe Brown. However, they fell short and lost their first game of the event. Their 2-1 record puts them third in the nine-team event.
WC's second game on Wednesday was pushed to Thursday morning at 9 a.m. (on Diamond 2) vs the defending champions, Napanee Express.
