Pink Team wins Carp Women's league playoff final

The Pink Team won the inaugural Carp Women’s Softball League championship last night in Carp.

Pink beat Green in the finals in a tight 2-0 pitcher’s duel. Kelsey Warren and Lynn Kearns both took no hitters into the 5th inning before a string of 3 hits from Josie Rogers, Danika Gareau and Michelle Mulvihill put Pink up 2-0. 

Danika Gareau received the golden ball for MVP of the game. The golden bat was awarded to Team Pink as the winning team.

Representatives from all four teams will be coming together to play an exhibition all-star game on Friday night at 8:00 at the Carp Shootout.
