Ashton A's win the Title

The Ashton Men’s Fastball League wrapped up its season Thursday night, with the A’s defeating the Farmers 6 - 4 in Game 3 of the finals to capture the A Championship, two games to one.

The A’s carried a 6 - 2 lead into the bottom of the seventh before the Farmers mounted a late rally to make things interesting. But the A’s pitching held firm, shutting down the comeback attempt and securing the championship victory.

Trevor Lahey and Matt Carter pitched for the A's. Matt McKay and Jordan Hansen threw for the Farmers.

The AMFL is a four-team league that plays Thursdays in Ashton.
