Stittsville, Fitzroy receive berths at ToC
The International Softball Congress (ISC) has announced that the Stittsville 56ers and Fitzroy Harbour West Carleton Electric have both been invited to the Tournament of Champions in Kitchener from August 13-August 18, based on their showing at the Eastern Ontario qualifier.
Several US districts are not sending teams this year to the ISC II tournament opening up several "invite" berths, two of which were offered to the 56ers and the 'Trics.
Both teams have indicated they will be accepting the berths.
That makes 4 teams from the area competing at this year's event - Team Easton, Micksburg, Stittsville and Fitzroy.
