GOFL on CTV Ottawa - Update

The Greater Ottawa Fastball League is working on getting some publicity and game footage on the local CTV Ottawa affiliate. More information to follow as things are firmed up - check the blog tomorrow for more information and get your VCR ready (or your PVR thingy if your home entertainment technology has escaped the 90s unlike mine).

Update:

The plan is that Terry Marcotte from the 6PM News, CTV Ottawa Sports will suit up for Team Easton in uniform for their game tonight against Stittsville 56ers (7PM at Carp Fairgrounds). Apparently he has been doing this kind of piece where he gets imbedded into an actual sporting event to experience the game. He will take an at bat in the game, and play an inning at defence to experience fastball at its highest level in Ottawa. Should be lots of fun, and good publicity for the league. I'll make sure to post the details of when the segment will be aired as soon as I find out. Thanks to Shawn Williams for setting up this promo opportunity for the league and for fastball in general.
