Easton and Quyon tie at 6

Easton 6 VS Quyon 6 (6 innings)
Team Easton travelled to Quyon last night and played the scrappy Flyers to a 6-6 draw after 6 innings. The game was called due to the fact the Easton team had to catch the ferry back. Joe McCleary had another big night for the Flyers going 2/4 with a homerun and 4Rbi. Dan Konkle took to the mound for Easton while Quyon countered with Matt Greer
Easton opened the scoring in the top of the 1st by virtue of a 2 out home run off the bat of Todd Fraser, then added to lead in the second as Chad Milne singled was sacrificed to second by Lukas Kamps and driven home by a Dan Konkle single.
Randy Peck started the 3rd inning with his second single of the game and later scored on an error to put Easton up 3-0.
Quyon cut into the lead in the bottom half of the inning on the strength of a 2 run homerun by Joe McCleary.
Easton got 1 run back in the 4th after consecutive walks to Dave Tubman, Todd Fraser and Randy Peck loaded the bases. Cory Morrison singled to center to cash Tubman. Speedy Todd Fraser also tried to score on the play but was gunned out at the Plate by the Flyer's centerfielder.
Quyon answered back in the bottom half of the innings with 4 runs of their own. Joe McCleary continued his hot hitting with a 2run single to give Quyon the 6-4 lead.
Easton tied the score in their half of the 5th as Scott Marion hit a 2Run shot deep to left field.
Quyon threatened in the bottom of the 5th as starter Matt Greer led off with a double but was left stranded at second base.
