UOVMFL season begins

The Upper Ottawa Valley league kicked off the '08 campaign with a double header in Micksburg Friday night. The first game saw McNab/Fitzroy defeat the Micksburg Jr Twins 3-0 with Shawn Costello getting the win for McNab.
The second game saw the Shawville Snappers beat the Micksburg Sr Twins. Drew Hathway had the win for the Snappers, going the full 6 innings. Corey Costello was credited with the loss with Jonathan Regier seeing some time in relief.
