AuSable Forks, NY tourney
Local teams competed in the 10 team tourney this past weekend in AuSable Forks, New York and by all accounts fun was had by all attendees.
The Ottawa Blitz, bolstered by the addition of veteran lefty Steve Price went 2-1-1 but unfortunately missed the playoff round based on plus-minus tiebreaker.
Gordon Oil, a AuSable sponsor of a team composed of players from Team Easton, Manotick and Quyon finished 0-4 and missed the playoff round.
Carp I4C Victory was the most successful local entry going 2-2-1, losing out in the Semi-Finals 5-2 to Razzano's Trucking and Gregg Garrity.
