Manotick 0 vs Easton 7

Easton topped the Printers 7 - 0 last night in Manotick with Easton being the home team. Dan Konkle got the win pitching a 4 hit shutout while Trevor Lahey took the loss.

Easton opened the scoring in the bottom of the 1st as Dave Tubman led off with a walk and was sacrificed to second by Chad Milne who also reached on an error. After Lahey caught Todd Fraser looking Randy Peck singled to score Tubman, Cory Morrison doubled to score Milne and Pat O' Connor singled to score Peck putting Easton up 3-0 after one.

Easton added to their lead in the 5th as Chad Milne doubled and advanced to 3rd on a kevin Chevrier single then scored on a fielders choice off the bat of Randy Peck.

Up 4-0 headding into the 6th Kyle Olson reached on a fielders choice then scored on Dan Konkle's 2run shot to center field. Dave Tubman then reached on error followed by a chad mile single. After Lahey got Chevrier to fly out to center Randy Peck singled to score Tubman and induce the mercy rule.
