GOFL Showcase on June 5/6

Fitzroy Harbour will host the 2009 GOFL Showcase on June 5/6. Eight teams, eight games, which will all count in the GOFL standings.

There will also be a kids' softball clinic for boys and girls at noon on Saturday to learn some ball tips from the "stars" of the GOFL. The clinic is free, and all participants will get a hot dog and drink as well as an entry to win a new bat, courtesy of COMBAT Sports.

We will also be featuring a Peewee Boys softball game between the Fitzroy Harbour "Junior Electric" and Kinburn on Friday night.

There will be a barbecue on site with "Fitzroy Beef Burgers" and the canteen will be open for other items. The Fitzroy Harbour Community Association will be hosting a outdoor beer garden for both Friday night and Saturday.

For bargain hunters, June 6 is also "Garage Sale Day" in Fitzroy Harbour - tour around town and hunt for some deals!
