MEN'S FASTBALL
After an absence of a number of years, there is a men's fastball team back in Brockville.
The Brockville team (formerly Lyn) is playing in the North Leeds Men's Fastball League and has a game at Goldie Christopher Ball Park tonight at eight o'clock against Smiths Falls.
This will be the home opener for Brockville, with a 2-2 won-loss record.
The Brockville team consists of Ryan Brown, Adam Cross, Jon Cross, Mike Hanna, Jason Livingston, Adam McNish, Jeff McNish, Matt McNish, John Purvis, Mark Reilly, Derrick Roberts, Matt Walker and Milo VanDyk.
The longtime North Leeds league consists of teams from Newboro (defending champs), Greenbush and Smiths Falls.
