Orleans wins 4-1 at Greely

The Orleans Gators beat the Greely Eagles 4-1 at Andy Shields Park on Monday night.

Rookie pitcher Jeff Barber threw a two hitter to get his first GOFL win. Jeff helped his own cause at the plate by going 2/3 with 2 runs scored. The score was 1-1 after 4innings but Cory Alkerton lead off the 5th inning with a home run. Joel Langford hit a double later in the inning to score 2 runs. Jason Naylor had the other RBI for Orleans.

Gord Flannery took the loss for Greely with some relief from Shannon Borho. Mike Savoie scored the Greely run.
