Lyn wins OASA Peewee Select championship

Lyn Pee Wee Selects won the OASA Provincial Select Tournament held in Goulding Park August 15. They had wins over Stittsville and the host Goulding Park, tied Unionville and scored a 8-2 win over St. Catharines in the final.
They used a balanced attack of hitting, pitching and almost errorless ball throughout all the games.
Marcus Rice, nephew of Newboro Sappers and Miners player and tournament organizer Scott Rice, was named the tournament's top pitcher.
