Team Blue wins Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League title
Team Blue defeated Team Orange on Wednesday to take the FHMFL final 2 games to none.
James Daley's team was a 18-17 winner over Adam Murphy's gang in an offensive battle in the fog in Fitzroy. Kurt Phillion had the win in relief of Connor Engleberts. Andy Roper took the loss in relief of Darcy Proulx.
Mike Twolan had the walk off RBI single in the bottom of seven for the big Blue win. Proulx had three homeruns in a losing cause for the Orange squad.
All in all a good year for the four team Fitzroy men's loop as plenty of new young players participated in the recreation Wednesday night league.
