The GCMFL is down to the final four in the quest for the Barry Taggart Memorial trophy as league champions.
#1 seed Laurysen Kitchens puts their 13-3 record on the line against #6 East Side Mario's in one semi-final. Laurysen won the season series 2-0 by scores of 6-0 and 4-3, but ESM has been in a groove since the start of August, winning 7 of their last 9 games.
In the other semi-final, #2 seed ASAP Print Management faces #5 seed Mattamy Homes. ASAP had the edge over Mattamy in the regular season, winning 9-1 and playing to a 1-1 draw, but the teams haven't played each-other since late June.
Both series begin Monday September 14th at the A.Y. Jackson diamond. See www.gcmfl.com for the full schedule.
