Kars defeated 56er's 7-0 Wednesday night at the Grove in Stittsville. Brad Porter got the win while Darren Featherstone to the loss. Kars opened the scoring in their half of the 1st as lead off hitter Christain Knapp took the first pitch off the bucket then Kevin Chevrier reached on an error to put runners on 1st and 2nd. After Chad Milne grounded out and Dave Tubman walked Cory Morrison hit a sac fly to score Knapp. Cory Alkerton then walked to load the bases and Chirs Hall hit a chopper between first and second beating our the throw to put the Aces up 2-0. Kars scored 4 more in the second as Knapp reached on an error, Chevrier singled, Tubman walked, Morrison doubled to clear the bases then Alkerton singled to score Morrison. The Aces added another in the 5th as Tubman doubled and later scored on a throwing error to 1st base.
