Quyon makes it to A semi final in Millgrove Tournament

Quyon COMBAT Flyers were undefeated in the round robin of the Millgove Tournament (near Burlington) but lost out in the A semi-final on Sunday.
Saturday games (round robin)
Game 1: In the early morning game, Quyon defeated Curve Lake 3-1 with Joran Graham throwing the complete game.
Game 2: Just after noon, Quyon faced the always strong Waterdown Hammer and came away with a 3-2 victory. Drew Hathway had the win and Joran Graham had a two run homer.
Game 3: The Flyers stayed undefated in early evening game with an 11-7 win over Linwood. Quyon scored 4 runs with 2 out in top 1, capitalizing on some errors. But in the bottom of the first Linwood scored seven runs, 5 off Chad Hargrvoe, then 2 off Drew Hathway. Tourney pick up Mike Noftall came in to pitching in the second inning and he stayed in to finish the game as Quyon came back for the win. Joran Graham hit a 3-run moon shot that as per reports may have landed near Brampton.
Sunday elimination round:
The perfect record put the Flyers through the A division semi-final of the 12 team tournament.
Game 4: Quyon played Ohsweken Redmen and were shutout 2-0 by Tom Berube. Mike Noftall took the loss.
