Celebrations

Fitzroy Junior or Foligno Junior?: Fitzroy Junior has been really coming along defensively this season. This means he has been catching a few pop flies, which to a seven year old is pretty exciting. Tonight he actually caught what could be described as a line drive. However, every time he makes a catch, he performs a little "Mike Foligno" celebration jump. It's cute for now....let's just hope he's not doing it in Bantam.

Caveman protects his prize: Speaking of celebrations, tonight was the Fitzroy Harbour T-ball League final game and post game "banquet". The kids played their last game, had some pizza, then the coaches handed out the trophies. Because Junior and I were at his game, we arrived late. Pizza had been finished, half the kids were gone and all the remaining youngsters were on the nearby play structure. When we got there, about 20 minutes after the awards had been handed out, there's the Caveman going down the slide, playing on the swings, jumping around - with trophy still in hand. I guess he didn't want anybody to steal it, so he was keeping within reach at all times!
