Midget Elims rained out

The OASA Midget Elimination tournament in Owen Sound this past weekend was rained out but three teams have been awarded spots in the Nationals based on their performances.

Oshawa BB's were undefeated and were waiting in the final for the winner of Sydenham Cyclones versus Walkerton Wild in the semi-final game.

All three teams have qualified for the Midget Nationals in Stratford, ON this August.

Andy Barber of the GOFL's West Carleton Electric throws for the Sydenham midgets.

Two other teams from eastern Ontario also participated in the 19 team tournament - McNab Mavericks and Greenbush Generals. Both teams finished 0-2.
