Cornwall league wraps up

Yum Yum Chips wins the Cornwall league.

Chips are champs again, after a sweep in final
Cornwall Standard-Freeholder
Henry Looyen's two-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning pushed Yum Yum Chips ahead of Bojangles for good.
The result was an 8-3 win for Yum Yum, and a sweep of their best-of-five Cornwall Cruising Men's Fastball League championship.
Tom Hutchingame and Jeremy McMullen each scored twice in the victory for Chips.
Brian Tardiff, Herb Seguin, Pete Marion and James Martell each scored once.
Hutchingame also contributed an RBI.
Seguin picked up the pitching win.
Bojangles had the long ball working but unfortunately for them, all three dingers were solo shots.
Scott Guppy, Kevin Wells and Mark Massia all went yard in Bojangles' final game of their inaugural season in the CCMFL.
Wells was tagged with the pithing loss.
The championship was the third in the seven seasons the CCMFL has been in existence.
Yum Yum also won the regular-season title, finishing with a record of 12-5-0.
Bojangles finished in second spot during the regular season, with a record of 9-7-1.
