Quyon at the ISCs - updates

I've been away with the family at a non-internet accessible cottage the last few days - hence the blog silence on Quyon at the ISCs. (Actual quote from the Caveman speaking to his brother in a particularly carefee moment a couple of days ago: "Junior! Guess what I'm not wearing! UNDERWEAR".) Here is a bit of an update.

After their defeat of St. Thomas, the Quyon COMBAT Flyers lost three straight at the ISC Worlds in Michigan.

NY Gremlins 7 - Quyon 4. Drew Hathway took the loss allowing 7 hits. Joel Langford was 2 for 3 off winning pitcher Bryan Newton.

Maccabi USA 2 - Quyon 1. Mike Noftall, Quyon pick up for the tourney took the loss. Russ Snow was the winner. Matt Greer had the lone Quyon RBI. Jeremy Spear, the guy that made Fastpitch-The Movie, was 3 for 3 for the Maccabi team.

Marshall, MI Lightning 5 - Quyon 1. Joran Graham took the loss, Sean Kelly had the win. Only two hits for Quyon, including a solo shot by Graham.

The Flyers moved on to the ISC II portion of the tournament.

Quyon 2 Frankenmuth, MI Tiffany's 1. Chad Hargrove threw a 4 hitter for the win. Matt Greer had two hits and Joe McCleary and Nick Armitage had RBIs.

Quyon's next game is tonight at 5pm.
