Glen Tournament wraps up
The Glen Cairn Men's Fastball League tournament was held over the weekend in Carp. While rain presented challenges and caused some scheduling changes, all the games were played in the 12 team event, which included 10 league teams plus representatives from the Trend-Arlington and Fitzroy Men's leagues.
Federal Accessibility (Duane Bromley) won the A crown with a 5-4 victory on Sunday afternoon over Mattamy Homes (Darren Featherstone). Mattamy beat D'Arcy McGee's (Neil Cooke) 2-1 in the semi while Fed Access beat Don Cherry's (Bill Gerber) 3-0.
Laurysen Kitchens won the B side over the Trend Arlington squad.
