Kars takes both games of doubleheader against Carp
In GOFL action on Tuesday night in North Gower, the Kars Aces swept their doubleheader against Carp I4C Victory.
The Aces won the first game 11-1, with Cory Alkerton getting the win and Bill Gerber taking the loss. In the nightcap it was Kars 6 Carp 3, with Brad Porter earning the win and Neil Cooke on the losing end.
This moves the Aces at 10-4 to two points behind first place Quyon Combat Flyers (10-0-2), while Carp (6-9) is in a three way tie (WC Electric 6-9 and Ottawa Blitz 5-9-2) for fourth with 12 points. Barrhaven is in sole possession of third with 17 points and Stittsville is in seventh with 7 points.
