Big John's wins Lackawanna tournament

Big John's, the host team at the Mickey Brennan Memorial Tournament in Lackwanna, NY won this year's 10 team event. There were teams from New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Ontario in attendance.

There are some good pitchers in attendance at this event - for instance this year Ty McKinney, Ryan Cummings, Bill Hillhouse, Tom Berube, Justin Heyman, Barry van Hooser and Jeff van Hooser were all there.

It's a good alternative to the Au Sable tournament held the same weekend if for some reason you can't go to that one and/or have been banned from 20 Main.

Lackawanna is just outside Buffalo and is home to the Bear's Den - which makes the Moose Lodge in Elkland look like the Ritz, but is a good spot to hoist a pint or two.
