GOFL Week 6
We are at week six in the Greater Ottawa Fastball League and there are four games on the schedule.
With a rare Monday game, Carp I4C Victory (1-3) will visit Fitzroy Harbour to play West Carleton Electric (2-4-1) at 8:30pm.
The Wednesday night doubleheader in Manotick sees the Quyon Combat Flyers (2-2-1) playing the Ottawa Taylor's Blitz (2-3-1) at 7pm, while the Stittsville 56ers (1-2-2) play the Blitz in the 9pm game.
It's a busy week for the Blitz as they play their third game of the week on Thursday in Carp against I4C Victory in an 8:30pm start.
The Kars Aces (5-0) / Stittsville game that was scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed as several Kars players are unavailable.
The Barrhaven Broadway Blues (3-2-1) will have the week off as the team departs on a trip to Newfoundland where they will be vacationing for a few days then playing ball in a fastball tournament in St. John's. Word is that former 56ers Sam Oliver, currently living in Newfoundland, will be joining the team there as well. Best of luck to the Blues as they represent the GOFL on the Rock and we should hopefully get some updates for the blog.
