Detail from Cory Morrison, Marcel Mondoux
At the schedule doubleheader in Manotick on Wednesday night, Kars Aces won the first game 13-2 over the Ottawa Taylor's Blitz in five innings; the second game was rained out.
Cory Alkerton had the win for the Aces. Shannon Borho had the start but only threw two pitches before yielding to Derick Bulley. Derek Bergeron saw action in relief. (UDPATE: See comments for who took the loss!).

Cory Morrison then doubled off the fence in right scoring Knapp. After Steve Price walked, Chad Milne hit a 3-run shot to right putting Kars up 5-0.
The Aces added to their lead in the second as Knapp and Morrison hit back to back solo shots. Price was HBP and Milne singled. An errant throw by the Blitz outfielder allowed Price to score from second extending the lead to 8-0.

Actually Shannon Borho should get the ultra rare 2-pitch loss after he left the game due to injury leaving a 2-0 count to the lead-off batter who scored the go-ahead run. MLB 10.16(h)(1)
