Kars wins both in Wednesday night doubleheader

The Kars Aces took both games in a GOFL Wednesday night doubleheader in Carp.
In Game 1, the Aces defeated the Ottawa Taylor's Blitz 8-0. Brad Porter had the shut out victory. Shannon Borho took the loss and Derek Bergeron saw action in relief. Chad Milne stroked a homer for Kars. Porter gets Caveman's Choice as player of the game for the win.
In the second game, Kars were 6-1 winners over the Barrhaven Broadway Blues. Cory Alkerton earned the win, while Chad Hargrove was the losing pitcher with relief from Trevor Lahey. Matt Alkerton had a three run homer for the Aces. Cory Alkerton earns Caveman's Choice as player of the game for his pitching performance.
