Carp splits doubleheader in Manotick

In GOFL play on Wednesday night in Manotick , Carp I4C Victory split their two games.

In the first game, Manotick Taylor's Blitz won 5-2 over Carp, with Jamie Blakely earning the win. Cody Price took the loss for Carp. Marcel Mondoux who was 3-4 with two singles and a triple, and a run scored was the player of the game and took Caveman's Choice honours in this one.

The second game of the night saw Carp win 6-0 over the Barrhaven Broadway Blues. Neil Cooke had the win, while Trevor Lahey took the loss. Kevin McGuire had a monstrous night at the plate, going 3 for 3 with two three-run homers and double, plus an intentional walk to earn Caveman's Choice.
