Team Quebec drops first two at Senior Canadians in Stratford
Team Quebec, with three GOFL players on their roster, dropped their first two games at the Senior Men's Nationals in Stratford, ON.
Their opener was a 13-12 loss to Newfoundland - Don Cherry's. Joe McCleary was 1-4; Scott Herriot was 2-5 with 2 runs, 2 RBIs and homer; Matt Greer was 2-4 with 2 runs, 2 RBIs and a walk.
Following that they were defeated 15-8 by the Kitchener Cubs. Matt Greer was 1-4; Scott Herriot was 2-4 with 2 runs; Joe McCleary was 3-3 with a 3-run homer and 5 RBIs.
Next up they play the Kitchener Outlaws at 10am tomorrow.
