George Findley off to South Bend, IN for ASAs

Congratulations to local Ottawa umpire, George Findley, on being selected to officiate at the ASA Men's Major tournament in South Bend, Indiana in August. George, who is heavily involved in the local Eastern Ontario Umpires Association, will be representing Softball Canada at the event.

This the US version of the Men's Nationals, with fifteen club teams (including international players) playing in a bracket style tournament. More information here from Al's Fastball.

GOFLer Matt Greer of Quyon Flyers will be in attendance as well, playing for Kitchener Hallman Twins.
