Elkland First Weekend Tournament - UPDATE

This weekend, the Elkland Softball Association hosts their First Weekend Tournament. This year they had 15 teams for the double knockout event - bracket here.

As of this morning there are eight teams remaining in contention. PA Power and the NY Bombers are playing in the winners' bracket final.

ESA Thunderbellys are joined by Schuykill Merchants, Northern Merchants, Beam House, CPI/Heflin and Waterdown Hammer in coming up the losers' bracket.

The final (single game) is scheduled for 4 pm.

UPDATE: PA Power won the final over NY Bombers 6-4 in 8 innings. Elkland Thunderbellys finished third. MV Player: Simon Zigler (Power), MV Pitcher: Doug Hoffman (Power).
