Lyn Lightning win Peewee Select OASA Provincial Tournament

Lyn Lightning Peewees won the Ontario Amateur Softball Association Squirt Select Boys Provincial tournament in Unionville this past Saturday.

The Lighting won Gold and were an undefeated 5-0 in a rain filled Saturday in Unionville.
Lyn defeated Belleville 8-3, Georgian Bay 6-4, Stouffville 11-1 and Bracebridge 13-0.
The Championship game was a rematch with Belleville. In a tightly matched game the Lightning scored 4 runs in the 7th inning to take the Gold by the score of 8-4. Tommy Hanna pitched a 4 hitter and struck out 13 in the Championship game.
