Hill United wins AAU Men's fastpitch tournament

Hill United ran the table with seven straight wins, defeating Team Marquez from Mexico in the final. Their closest competition was a 2-1 win over the NY Gremlins in the quarter-finals in which all runs were scored on solo shots.

Kanata Storm lost in the round of eight, defeated by Maracaibo from Venezuela. Javier Caballero, a member of Team Cuba, had the win while Mike Noftall and Corey Costello threw for the Storm. Kyle Ezekiel had two homers for Kanata and Ryan Kirk had one as well. Alexis Gonzalez was 4 for 4 with two homers for Maracaibo. They lost to Hill U in the semi-finals.
