Ottawa Valley As post first GOFL win, split doubleheader

The Ottawa Valley As won their first ever game in the Greater Ottawa Fastball League in the first game on Wednesday in Manotick.

The expansion As bested I4C Victory 8-2 in the 7pm game. Todd Wilson had the win while Matt McNish took the loss with relief from Shane McNish.

In the late game, the Kars Aces won 7-0 over the As. Brad Porter had the win, tossing four innings and striking out 11. Luke Severson saw an inning in relief for Kars. Adam Rueckwald took the loss for Valley.
