Micksburg edges Valley As - WITH DETAILS
The Micksburg Twins avenged a loss last week to the Ottawa Valley As in Greater Ottawa Fastball League play and came up with a 3-1 win in McNab on Tuesday night.
Joran Graham earned the win with 17 strikeouts. Todd Wilson took the loss for the As with Adam Rueckwald seeing action in relief. Steve Frost hit a solo homer for Valley.

Tuesday night saw the Valley A's host the Twins in McNab. The Twins sent Joran Graham to the hill and the A's countered with the veteran Todd Wilson.
Graham started strong on the mound striking out the first nine batters he faced. The Twins got on the board in the 3rd as Connor Moss Walked then stole second base. A hard hit ball by Brandon Jackson was misplayed by the second baseman which allowed Moss to score all the way from second making it 1-0.
The Twins added to their lead in the 4th as Jamey Mick lead things off with a double off the left field fence, then with one out Kyle Jackson hit a 2-run homerun to center field making it 3-0 for the Twins and ending the night for Wilson as Adam Rueckwald came in for relief.
Graham was dealing till the 5th when the A's Steve Frost took a pitch and drove it over the left field fence giving the A's their first hit and cutting the Twins lead to 3-1. Ryley Burns later singled in the inning with 1 out but Graham was able to strike out the next two batters getting out of the inning stranding Burns.
That was all the A's were able to muster up as Graham was able to settle down and going the distance with 17k and 3-1 win and evening their record to 2-2.
