Flyers defeat 56ers
The Quyon Flyers won their home opener 7-0 on Thursday night over the Stittsville 56ers in Greater Ottawa Fastball League action.
Trevor Lahey was the winning pitcher in the five inning run rule game. Kyle Olsen took the loss and had relief from Adam Smith.
Dennis McCleary and Dave Hobbs had home runs for the Flyers.
