56ers get past Victory 6-5

The Stittsville 56ers won their Greater Ottawa Fastball League game on Wednesday at the Grove in dramatic fashion, with a 6-5 walk off win over I4C Victory.

Adam Smith had the win for the home team, while Neil Cook took the loss for I4C in relief of Cody Price.

Going into the bottom of the seventh inning, Stittsville had a 5-2 lead. Kevin McGuire's two run double got I4C back into the game, and Ryan Clare's RBI single tied things up.

The 56ers were able to secure the W in the bottom of the seventh when Ryan Bond's walk off RBI single score Smith to win the game.
