Kars wins tight game over I4C Victory 1-0

In the first game of the Greater Ottawa Fastball League doubleheader in Manotick on Wednesday night, the Kars Aces edged I4C Victory 1-0.

Brad Porter earned the win with a complete game two hit shutout, notching 12 strikeouts. Cody Price took the hard luck loss allowing only one hit. He had relief from Shane McNish.

Brad Pender had the game's only RBI, driving in Nick Ellis. Ellis had walked and was stealing second when Pender hit a blooper. Ellis continued running and was safe at home. Pender's hit was the Aces' only hit of the game as both teams combined for only three singles in the match.
