Twins defeat As 7-0 in Micksburg - WITH DETAILS

The Micksburg Twins won 7-0 at home over the Ottawa Valley As on Thursday night in Greater Ottawa Fastball League action.

Joran Graham was the winning pitcher for the Twins. Adam Rueckwald took the loss.


Micksburg started off sluggish going three up, three down in the first inning but would ramp things up manufacturing a run in the second. Jamey Mick led off the inning with a long single and was moved to third on two groundouts. Scott Conroy had a stand up triple to score Mick.

The Twins were right back at it in the second. After the leadoff man popped out, Kyle Jackson singled and then scored on a Matt McIntyre double. McIntyre would later score on a single by Jamey Mick and the Twins took a 3-0 lead.

Conroy led off the fourth inning with a hard single which was followed by Kurt Levet earning a walk. Kyle Jackson singled to load the bases only to have Joran Graham clear them with one swing of the bat for a final tally of 7-0.

Graham threw another solid game earning the 5 inning shut out.
