Valley beats I4C

The Ottawa Valley As got by I4C Victory 6-5 in Greater Ottawa Fastball League play on Wednesday night in Carp.




Ben Broek earned the win with an inning and third of pitching in relief of Adam Rueckwald. Matt McNish took the loss.


Dave Baird hit a two run shot in the bottom of the sixth to put Valley ahead, driving in Sean Lecuyer who had doubled. Lecuyer had a monster homer earlier in the game.




McNish, Chris MacFarlane and Curtis Scurr all hit homers for I4C.
