Scott Searle wins F.R. Feaver Award
At the Annual General Meeting of the Ontario Amateur Softball Association, Orleans resident Scott Searle was named the winner of the F.R. Feaver Award.
This prestigious award is presented annually to a player, official or officer of any league or association, who in the opinion of the Feaver awards committee has made an outstanding contribution to the game of softball.
Scott has most certainly made an outstanding contribution through many different ways, but especially through his coaching in both the men's and women's game. He has coached at almost all levels, including at the ISC with Scarborough Force. I have had the pleasure of being on the field with Scott at youth clinics and he does a great job at engaging with kids and helping them learn skills while having fun.
Scott has a passion for the game like few others I have met, and has a great sense of humour, even if he does like occasionally making fun of bloggers.
Congrats to Scott, well earned.
