Osgoode edges Valley on Thursday

The Osgoode Chiefs picked up their first win as members of the Greater Ottawa Fastball League on Thursday night in Carp, edging the Ottawa Valley As 9-8.

The Chiefs were up 7-6 after five and a half, but the As put up two to make it 8-7 after six. However Osgoode rallied for two in the top of seven and shutdown Valley in the bottom.

Cory Baldwin had the complete game win. Adam Rueckwald took the loss in relief of Ryland Hill.
