Manotick and Osgoode win on Wednesday
West Carleton Electric lost two close games on Wednesday in Manotick in Greater Ottawa Fastball League league play.
The first game saw the Manotick Brewers come back to win 4-3 over WC. Adam Smith earned the win on the slab for the home team while Adam Rueckwald took the loss.
Rueckwald had a solo homer for the Trics. Zach Branchaud had two RBIs for the Brewers and Ryan Clare's single in the bottom of the seventh scored Tyler Alexander to walk it off.
The late game was a 6-5 win for the Osgoode Chiefs over West Carleton. Matt McKay was the winning pitcher while Ben Broek took the loss in relief of Martin Mauveil.
