Orleans edges Manotick

The Orleans Rebels defeated the Manotick Brewers 2-1 in Greater Ottawa Fastball League play on Friday night.

Andy Barber had the win allowing only two hits and striking out 15. Carley Shane took the loss with Cory Baldwin seeing two innings in relief.

Orleans scored two in the first. Matt Healey got hit by a pitch, stole second. Moises Del Corral hit a double to score him and then Tyler Borris hit a double to score Del Corral.

Manotick got their run in the fourth when Tyler Branchaud tripled and scored on a wild pitch.

Orleans and Micksburg remain as the two undefeated teams in the GOFL.
