Micksburg and Orleans split doubleheader

The battle of the undefeated teams in the Greater Ottawa Fastball League resulted in a win for each team at a neutral site doubleheader match up Thursday night in Carp.

The early game was a 2-1 win for the Orleans Rebels over the Micksburg Twins. Andy Barber had the win and Joran Graham took the loss. Jeff Barber had a homer for the Rebels.

The second game was a tight 5-4 win for Micksburg over Orleas. Noah Fleurie got the win and John Enright the save. Andy Barber took the loss. Joe Mick had a homer for the Twins.

The game ended on somewhat of a controversial note, as the weather was bad for the bottom of the seventh and the game was halted with Micksburg up 6-4 and Orleans at bat with two men on. Going back to the last complete inning means the Twins win 5-4 as that was the score at the end of the sixth.
