Blackburn playoffs down to three teams

The number 6th ranked Bandits eliminated the Rogues with a 6 to 4 win in Blackburn Men's Fastball League playoffs, surpassing their regular season wins. Max Lalonde earned the win and Tyler Alexander also threw for the Bandits. Matt Cox had the loss and had relief from Derick Bulley. Down 4-2, the Bandits rallied in the 5th inning and scored 4 runs in the 5th inning to take the 6-4 lead and held on. Tyler Alexander hit a home run for the Bandits.

Goodfellows and Los Caballos was suspended after an injury on the field. Play resumed on Sunday, with Los Caballos winning 11-0. Will Lowe had the win and Shannon Borho took the loss with relief from spare Nick Bowman.

Next up is the Bandits vs Goodfellows on Tuesday at 7 pm at Pierre Rocque. Loser is eliminated and the winner will play Los Caballos, needing to beat them 3 times to capture the championship.
