Hopper named to Team Canada for U18 World Cup in Mexico

Conner Hopper from Fitzroy Harbour was officially named today by Softball Canada to the national team for the U18 Men's Softball World Cup to be held by the World Baseball Softball Confederation in Hermosillo, Mexico on 11-19 November.

Conner grew up playing West Carleton Minor Softball and has been a member of the West Carleton Electric boy's rep program in since mites (U10).

He is a catcher who can also play infield or outfield, and he is a very good hitter at both the youth and men's level.

Conner currently plays for West Carleton Electric U20 in the Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League and Glen Cairn Men's Fastball League, as well as in the Greater Ottawa Fastball League for West Carleton Electric.
