West Carleton Electric U20 take Harbour Ball title

West Carleton Electric U20 won the deciding game three of the Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League final with a 14-4 win over Grandor Farms on Wednesday night to take the Harbour Ball title.

A good crowd was on hand on a chilly night for the final softball game of the year at the Fitzroy Harbour Community Centre. 

Blake Bramburger and Gabe Brown pitched for WC U20, while Adam Rueckwald and Ryley Burns threw for Grandor. 

Conner Hopper was 3 for 5 including a two-run homer for the Jr Trics in the first inning. Brett Almeida was 3 for 4 with a walk and four runs batted in, Bramburger was two for three with two walks and three runs batted in and HK Khan had three RBIs.

Brad Smith was 3 for 3 for Grandor with an RBI and Rueckwald drew three walks.

The Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League is an eight team league that plays Wednesday nights at the Fitzroy Harbour CC. There were six men's teams, a U20 team and a U17 team.
