WC U20 even Harbour Ball Finals

The second game of the best of three Fitzroy Harbour Men's Fastball League finals was won by West Carleton Electric U20 by a score of 6-1 over Grandor Farms on Wednesday night, knotting the series at a game apiece.

Blake Bramburger and Gabe Brown combined for a one hitter for WC while Adam Rueckwald and Ryley Burns threw for Grandor.

A good crowd was on hand to watch as the U20 team got out to a 5-0 lead in the third with Conner Hopper (2), Alex Strathern, and Bramburger (2) earning runs batted in.

Grandor responded with a run driven in on a double by Austin McCord, the only hit of the game for the Farmers.

WC added to the lead in the fourth when Brown singled to score Dylan Rorwick who had doubled.

The deciding game three of the Harbour Ball Final will be played Wednesday September 20 at 8:30 p.m. at the Fitzroy Harbour C.C.
